Install Ausgabentracker on your own server with three commands. Your financial data stays with you; the license comes from us. The first 30 days are free.

Installation

You need:

A Linux server with Docker, e.g. a small VPS (1 vCPU, 1–2 GB RAM)
A domain or subdomain pointing to the server
Free ports 80 and 443 (or an existing web server as a proxy)

Get the package

Set up

Asks for the domain and your details for the imprint and privacy policy, generates all keys and a backup key, starts the app and creates your admin account.
Get started
Open your domain in the browser, sign in and start the trial on the license page: 30 days everything from Pro.

After that you install updates under Admin → System & updates. All details are in the package’s README.md.

License

Every installation gets a one-time Trial: 30 days everything from Pro for up to five accounts, no key needed. After that, every account needs a license key. The plans are the same as here:

Request a license key

Tell us which plan you’d like and for how many accounts. You’ll get the key by email and enter it on the license page of your installation.

Frequently asked questions

What does the license server learn?: A random installation ID, your domain as the installation name, the program version, license keys and pseudonymous account numbers like “tracker:3”. No names, email addresses or financial data.
What happens if the license server can’t be reached?: The app keeps running. Licenses are checked daily and stay valid for a few days without a connection; after that the app asks for a new check.
Who is responsible for data protection?: If you self-host, you are the operator and therefore the controller for the data on your own server. The app’s imprint and privacy policy are filled from your details in setup.sh; check them for your case.
Can I move from meinausgabentracker.de?: Yes. Export your data under Settings → Data and import the file into your own installation.
How many accounts can I create?: As many as you like. Every account that uses the app needs a license; the trial applies to up to five accounts of your installation.
Do I get the source code?: No, you get ready-made Docker images. Use is permitted with a valid license, see license terms.
